Horseshoe craps: the two tables we found
We checked Horseshoe Online Casino on September 28, 2026. The logged-in lobby would not render from our connection in New Jersey or Michigan, returning an apology page instead, so our list comes from the public game pages. Two craps titles appear there. The real lobby may hold more; we only list what we could actually see.
Go Craps is the computer-dealt option, built by Play’n GO and linked from all four state pages. You click to roll, results come from a random number generator, and the game offers roll history and preset betting strategies. That makes it a decent place to learn the layout before you take the same bets to a live table.
Live Dealer Craps is the second title. Its page says only that it is available on Horseshoe Online Casino: no studio name, no limits. The NJ in the title is the clearest signal we have, so if you play from Pennsylvania, Michigan or West Virginia, expect Go Craps to be your only craps table until your own lobby says otherwise.
| Format | Horseshoe table | Pace | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| RNG | Go Craps | As fast as you click | Learning, testing a system, short sessions |
| Live | Live Dealer Craps (NJ) | Set by the dealer and the table | Players who want real dice and a slower bankroll burn |
Picking a Horseshoe craps table for your bankroll
Both Horseshoe craps tables pay the same bets at the same prices, so the choice is about speed. On a computer-dealt game you can fit far more rolls into an hour than a live dealer can. Every extra roll is another chance for the house edge to work, which means Go Craps can cost more per hour at identical stakes.
Put numbers on it. A $10 Don’t Pass bet has a house edge of 1.364%, about 13.6 cents per decision, and a line decision takes 3.376 rolls on average. Play 100 rolls in an hour and you face about 30 decisions, an expected cost near $4. Double the pace and the cost doubles with it.
| Bet | Pays | House edge | Per roll |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pass Line | 1 to 1 | 1.41% | 0.42% |
| Don't Pass | 1 to 1 | 1.36% | 0.40% |
| Place 6 | 7 to 6 | 1.52% | 0.46% |
| Field | 1 to 1; 2 pays 2 to 1; 12 pays 2 to 1 | 5.56% | 5.56% |
The table above is the real menu for a careful bankroll. Pass and Don’t Pass sit near 1.4%, and a Place bet on the 6 or 8 is close behind at 1.515%. The Field looks friendly because it wins on seven totals, but it costs 5.56% of every bet, roughly four times the price of the line.
If your balance is small, the live table has one quiet advantage: fewer rolls per hour at the same unit. If you prefer Go Craps, set a roll count before you start, for example 200 rolls, and stop there. Speed is the one setting you control on an RNG game, and the house edge feeds on it.
The Horseshoe welcome offer and craps, state by state
On September 28, 2026 the offer was identical in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan and West Virginia: 500 bonus spins in four bundles of 125. Each spin is worth $0.20, carries a 1x playthrough and has to be used within five days of its bundle. The terms say registration needs an eligible code, which we did not see displayed.
For craps the key line is blunt. Horseshoe says bonus spins are not redeemable on table games, poker, live dealer games, video poker or sports. Neither Horseshoe craps table can take a spin. So the spins themselves are a slot product, and a player who only rolls dice gets no direct use from them.
Now the detail worth knowing. Bundles two, three and four each arrive when you earn one Tier Credit, and Horseshoe awards one Tier Credit for every $25 wagered on table games. Your craps action can trigger the later bundles, even though the spins must then be played on slots. A $25 session on Go Craps is enough for one bundle.
On slots the same Tier Credit takes only $5 in wagers, five times less. That ratio tells you how Horseshoe values table play compared with the reels. None of this changes the math of the dice, and offers change, so read the current version of the terms in your state before you register.
Who licenses Horseshoe in each state
The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement lists horseshoeonlinecasino.com under Caesars Interactive Entertainment, an affiliate of Tropicana Atlantic City. Horseshoe appears on the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board’s list of regulated sites. The Michigan Gaming Control Board lists it with the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians, and the West Virginia Lottery Commission oversees online casinos in West Virginia.
The Horseshoe app: ratings and what they tell you
Horseshoe Online Casino rated 4.5 out of 5 on the App Store from 7,252 ratings when we looked, and 4.6 on Google Play from about 3,080 reviews, with more than 100,000 downloads. Both scores are good. The sample is modest, though, several times smaller than the one behind the Caesars Palace app that shares its platform.
Ratings measure the whole app: logins, deposits, slots, support. They say nothing specific about Go Craps on a small screen. Given that the web lobby failed to load for us in two states, a short test is sensible. Deposit a small amount, play a few rolls and request a small withdrawal before you commit a real bankroll.
Live tables and dice alternatives at Horseshoe
The live section adds two dice games beside the craps table, both tagged NJ. Live Dealer Lightning Dice is an Evolution game where three dice decide the result and random multipliers boost some totals. Live Dealer Super Sic Bo is listed as well. They are different bets with different payouts, so treat them as a change of pace.
Card and wheel players have more to pick from: Horseshoe Live Dealer Blackjack, Live Dealer Blackjack en Español, Lightning Roulette and Red Door Roulette in New Jersey, a Live Dealer Roulette table for Michigan, Ultimate Texas Hold’em and game shows such as Crazy Time and Dream Catcher. Our live dealer craps guide covers how live dice studios work.
Software providers at Horseshoe
The public pages name four studios. Play’n GO makes Go Craps, Evolution makes Lightning Dice, IGT supplies an RNG Blackjack and NetEnt supplies European Roulette. The studio behind the live craps table is not stated. House-branded tables such as Horseshoe Signature American Roulette and Multihand Blackjack Surrender with Empire Poker and Pairs round out the computer-dealt shelf.
Other games: slots and the rewards link
Slots carry the brand here. The game pages list Horseshoe Blazing 7’s and Horseshoe Golden Throw alongside Huff N’ Lots of Puff, Cash Eruption, 5 Dragons and Dancing Drums. Play earns Caesars Rewards Tier Credits, the same currency the welcome bundle uses. We did not see an online poker room on any Horseshoe page we checked.
How Horseshoe craps compares with Caesars Palace and Borgata
Against Caesars Palace there is almost nothing to separate the craps. Both show Go Craps in four states and a Live Dealer Craps table tagged NJ, on the same platform. The difference is the welcome offer: Caesars gives a deposit match and a no-deposit bonus limited to slots, while Horseshoe gives spins but counts table wagers toward Tier Credits.
Borgata is a New Jersey and Pennsylvania site. It shows a computer-dealt Craps tile in its New Jersey lobby and a live Craps table in both states, which is the one clear advantage over Horseshoe for a Pennsylvania player. Its welcome package pairs a deposit bonus of your choice with up to 1,000 bonus spins.
Borgata’s deposit-bonus terms sit behind a login, so we cannot say whether craps counts there. Its App Store score is 4.72 from 53,064 ratings. For Horseshoe craps in Michigan or West Virginia, Go Craps is the table. If you load one of its preset strategies, read which bets it places first, since some spread chips across costly numbers.
