How the directory of casinos with craps is built
Each listing starts with a source. For most pins it is the casino’s own table-games page; for the rest it is a state regulator’s list, such as those of the Indiana Gaming Commission or the Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission. If neither source names craps, the casino stays off the map, however well known it is.
The whole directory was checked on September 28, 2026. Casinos change their floors often: a pit closes for a remodel, a dice table becomes an electronic terminal, a tribal casino adds real dice after a compact change. So treat every pin as a strong lead, not a promise, and call before a long drive.
What each listing shows, and what it leaves blank
Every entry has a name, operator, street address and the kind of craps the source describes: live dice, card craps or electronic craps. Table minimums, maximum odds, crapless tables and side bets appear only where the casino publishes them. Of 381 casinos, 26 publish a minimum and 49 publish an odds limit; the rest are left blank on purpose.
A blank minimum does not mean an expensive table. It means the casino did not put a number on its website, which is the norm, because minimums move with the crowd. A Tuesday-morning $5 table can be a $25 table by Friday night. A guessed figure would be wrong within a week, so the directory leaves it blank.
Using the map and the filters to find craps near you
Start with the map for the simplest question: which casino with craps is near me? Zoom to your area and each pin opens to the casino’s name and town. Clusters split apart as you zoom, which matters in places like the Las Vegas Valley or the Mississippi Gulf Coast, where a dozen pins sit within a few miles.
The searchable directory under the map does the rest. Choose a state to see every craps table near you on one screen, or type a casino, city or state into the search box. The craps type menu separates live dice from card craps and electronic craps, and one checkbox narrows the list to casinos that publish crapless craps.
Every listing carries two links: one to Google Maps for directions, and one to the page the listing came from, usually the casino’s own craps or table-games page. That second link is worth a click. It is where you will find current hours, tournament days and any rule change that happened after our check.
Where the most craps tables are, state by state
Nevada dominates. It holds 85 of the 381 casinos with craps in the directory, and 52 of those sit in the Las Vegas Valley: Las Vegas itself, North Las Vegas and Henderson. Reno adds eight more, Laughlin six and the Lake Tahoe casinos at Stateline four. Our Las Vegas craps guide splits the valley pit by pit.
Outside Nevada the count thins fast. Mississippi is second with 26 casinos, eight of them in Biloxi, the rest along the river at Tunica, Vicksburg and Greenville. California follows with 21, then Iowa and Washington with 18 each, and Illinois and Michigan with 16. Indiana and Arizona have 14 apiece, Oklahoma 13.
| Region | Casinos with craps | Largest states |
|---|---|---|
| West | 163 | Nevada 86, California 21, Washington 18 |
| Midwest | 100 | Iowa 18, Illinois 16, Michigan 16 |
| South | 67 | Mississippi 26, Oklahoma 13, Florida 11 |
| Northeast and Mid-Atlantic | 52 | New York 12, Pennsylvania 12, New Jersey 9 |
Atlantic City is the densest single town after Las Vegas, with nine casinos listed. Black Hawk in Colorado has six within walking distance of each other. If you want a state-level view with the rules behind each market, the craps by state pages cover what the law allows and which casinos near you actually spread the game.
Crapless, bubble, electronic and card craps: which casinos have them
Twenty-six casinos with craps publish a crapless table, and the list is wider than Las Vegas. Borgata and Hard Rock in Atlantic City both do, as do three Seminole casinos in Florida, River Spirit in Tulsa and Gold Strike in Tunica. Before you hunt one down, read how crapless craps changes the math: the 11 stops being a winner.
Bubble craps and other machines are harder to count, because casinos describe them loosely. Twenty-five casinos in the directory offer craps only as an electronic game, among them Harrah’s Las Vegas and Binion’s downtown, and another 37 run machines beside a live table. Our bubble craps guide covers how the dome and the payouts work.
Card craps in California
California is its own case. Of its 21 casinos with craps, 13 list card craps, where cards or a card-and-dice hybrid replace the rolled dice, including Pechanga, Barona and Graton. Five list real dice tables and three list electronic versions. The card craps page explains the rules, and the variants overview compares every format.
Tips for finding low minimums and high odds
Few casinos publish a minimum. The lowest in the data are $3 tables at Boomtown Biloxi, the Ojibwa Casino in Baraga, Michigan, and a weekday-daytime slot at Spirit Mountain in Oregon, all published by the casino. The Rio in Las Vegas publishes a $3 promotion that runs daily from 3 a.m. to noon. Cheap tables cluster in daytime hours.
High odds are easier to verify, because casinos advertise them. Thirty-three listings publish 10x odds, and Saratoga in Black Hawk and IP Casino in Biloxi publish 20x. That matters more than the minimum. The odds bet has no house edge, so a pass line bet with 10x odds behind it is far cheaper than the flat bet alone.
A practical pattern: a $5 table with 3-4-5x odds often beats a $10 table with 10x if your bankroll is thin, because you can still afford full odds on every point. Match the table to what you can put behind the line, not the other way around. The bankroll guide has the numbers.
Call ahead before you drive to a craps table near you
A pin tells you a casino had craps when we checked. It cannot tell you whether the table is open at 2 p.m. on a Wednesday. Many regional casinos open craps only in the evening or at weekends, and a dealer shortage can close the pit for a shift. A two-minute call to the casino’s table-games desk settles it.
Ask three things: is craps open today, what is the minimum right now, and what odds does the table offer. Casino phone staff are used to the question. If you want craps lessons near you, ask whether the casino runs them and when; lesson times are rarely published online, and they move with the season.
When no casino with craps is close enough
Some states have no casinos with craps at all, and in others the nearest table is a three-hour drive. If you are physically in New Jersey, Michigan, Pennsylvania or West Virginia and 21 or older, licensed online craps is legal, including live-dealer tables that roll real dice on camera. Elsewhere, the free craps table is the honest practice option.
One last habit for the real table. When you arrive, look at the small placard at the end of the layout before you buy in. It shows the limits for that table on that shift, often the odds too, and overrides any website. If the placard and this directory disagree, trust the placard, then tell us.
