Cookies and browser storage
A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to keep. Local storage and session storage do a similar job: they let a page remember something on your device. This policy covers all three, because the practical question is the same: what does the site keep in your browser, and why.
What craps.us does not set
There are no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies and no social media pixels on craps.us. No script builds a profile of your visits, and nothing on the site is sold or shared for advertising. Reading every page works without accepting anything.
What the practice tools keep on your device
A few tools remember your progress in local storage: the 3D practice table keeps your play-chip bankroll, the roll log keeps the rolls you entered, the payout trainer keeps your best streak, and the state tables remember the state you last picked. The entrance animation is shown once per visit through session storage. None of this is sent to us.
Strictly necessary security cookies
The network that delivers craps.us may set a short-lived cookie that helps tell real visitors from automated traffic. It contains no information about who you are, is used only to protect the site and expires on its own. It is not used for analytics or advertising.
Third-party websites
The casino map loads map tiles from OpenStreetMap, which handles that request under its own policy. Links to licensed operators lead to websites that set their own cookies, including affiliate cookies that tell the operator a visit came from craps.us. The affiliate disclosure explains that relationship.
How long things are kept
Nothing in local storage expires on a timer. The practice bankroll, the roll log and your saved choices stay until you clear them, reset the tool or remove the site data in your browser. Session storage is emptied when you close the tab, so the entrance animation shows again on your next visit. A security cookie from the network, if one is set, lasts minutes, not months.
Why we keep it this small
A craps guide does not need to know who you are to explain the odds of a hard eight. Keeping the site free of tracking means no consent pop-up stands between you and the page, nothing about your reading habits exists to leak, and the tools still run when storage is blocked; they just start fresh each visit.
Your choices and contact
You can block or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings at any time; the pages still work, and only the tools forget your progress. The privacy policy explains what other data exists and your rights. Questions about this policy can go to [email protected]. If it changes, the new version replaces this page.
