What we do not collect
You can read every page without signing up, because there are no user accounts. The site sets no analytics cookies and no advertising cookies, and it runs no tracking scripts that build a profile of your visits.
What stays in your browser
The free tools, such as the payout trainer and the roll log, save your practice scores and logged rolls in your browser’s localStorage. That data stays on your device. It is never sent to us or to anyone else, and we cannot see it.
You can delete it at any time by clearing the site data for craps.us in your browser settings. Using a private window means nothing is kept after you close it.
Server logs
Like any website, craps.us runs on a hosting provider whose servers keep standard access logs. A log entry records your IP address, the page requested, the time, and the browser and device type your browser reports. These logs are used to keep the site running and secure, to find errors and to block abuse. They are not used to identify you or combined with other data.
Map tiles on the casino map
The casino directory and the state casino pages include a map. To draw it, your browser loads map tiles directly from OpenStreetMap’s tile servers. That request reaches OpenStreetMap with your IP address and the usual browser details, and it is handled under the OpenStreetMap Foundation’s own privacy policy. Pages without the map make no such request.
Links to operator sites
Some links lead to licensed online casinos. Once you follow one, you are on the operator’s website, which sets its own cookies, including the ones that tell the operator a visit came from craps.us. What the operator collects is governed by its privacy policy, not this one. Read it before you open an account.
Money and payments
No money changes hands on craps.us. The practice table uses play chips, the tools run on numbers you type in, and the site takes no deposits, cards or bank details of any kind. Payments happen only after you follow a link to a licensed operator, on that operator’s own website, where its privacy policy applies in place of this one.
Age and email
The site is written for adults aged 21 and over, and it does not knowingly collect information from anyone younger. It also runs no mailing list, so writing to us does not sign you up for anything: your email is read to answer the point you raised, and it is not added to any list or shared for marketing.
Your rights
You can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. In practice the only data we could hold is what sits in server logs or in an email you send us.
If you live in California, the California Consumer Privacy Act gives you the right to know what personal information is collected about you, to request its deletion and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information for advertising, and you will not be treated differently for exercising any of these rights.
Contact about privacy
Send privacy requests to [email protected] or by post to the address above, and say which right you want to use. We may ask for enough detail to find the relevant records, such as the date and approximate time of a visit. If this policy changes, the new version replaces this page and takes effect when it is published.
