Craps in Las Vegas: Where to Play on the Strip, Downtown and Off It

Craps in Las Vegas runs to more than 50 pits in the directory, and the gap between them is bigger than most visitors expect. At one end of town a casino publishes 10x odds with a $10,000 cap; a few miles away the only craps on the floor is a machine. Where you sit changes the game.

This guide splits the valley into four parts: the Strip, Downtown and Fremont Street, the locals casinos and the off-Strip resorts in between. Every casino named here had a craps table confirmed by its own website when we checked on September 28, 2026. Minimums and odds appear only where the casino itself publishes them.

How many casinos offer craps in Las Vegas

The directory lists 52 craps casinos in the Las Vegas Valley: 47 in Las Vegas proper, three in North Las Vegas and two in Henderson. That is more than any state outside Nevada can show, and well over half of Nevada’s own total of 85, with the rest spread from Reno and Lake Tahoe to Laughlin and Wendover.

Fewer publish details than you might think. Thirty valley casinos publish an odds limit, a minimum or a crapless table, and most of those figures come from Downtown and the locals casinos, not the Strip. The big resorts tend to list craps among their table games and say nothing more, so walk the floor before you sit.

Reading the numbers below

Where this page quotes a minimum or an odds limit, it is the figure published by the casino, as of our check. Minimums float with demand far more than odds do. A published $5 table may exist only on weekday mornings, and a 10x odds rule is usually the same all day. Treat odds as the reliable number.

Craps on the Las Vegas Strip

Craps on the Strip covers 15 casinos in the directory, from the STRAT and SAHARA at the north end past Resorts World, Wynn, Encore, the Venetian, Treasure Island, Caesars Palace, Horseshoe, Paris, Planet Hollywood, Flamingo, The LINQ and the Vanderpump Hotel. Harrah’s is listed too, but its craps is electronic.

The Strip is where crapless craps is easiest to find. Flamingo, Paris, Planet Hollywood, The LINQ, SAHARA and The STRAT all publish a crapless table, and the STRAT adds 10x odds and a Bonus Craps side bet. If crapless appeals, read how crapless craps works first: turning the 2, 3 and 12 into points costs you the come-out 11.

Everything else on the Strip is a live dice table with no published numbers. That is normal. Caesars Palace, Wynn and the Venetian do not advertise minimums, and their minimums rise with the crowd. Weekday mornings are the time to find a lower table, and the craps etiquette guide covers how to buy in quietly.

The map loads when you scroll here. It shows 52 casinos; every one is also listed below.

Each Nevada casino here is listed because its own website or the state gaming regulator confirmed a craps table when we checked on September 28, 2026. Minimums and odds appear only where the casino publishes them. Tables change: call ahead before you travel.

Downtown Las Vegas and Fremont Street craps

Downtown is where Vegas craps gets cheaper and the odds get published. Twelve casinos in the directory sit on or beside Fremont Street: Circa, the Golden Gate, The D, the Golden Nugget, the Four Queens, Fremont, Binion’s, El Cortez, the Plaza, the California, Main Street Station and the Downtown Grand. Most sit within a few blocks of each other.

The published figures are good. The Golden Gate and The D publish 10x odds, El Cortez 5x, and the Downtown Grand a $5 minimum with 3-4-5x odds. The Golden Nugget publishes a $5 minimum. The Plaza publishes a Bonus Craps side bet, and Binion’s lists electronic craps with 5x odds, published by the casino. Check the placard anyway.

Why downtown suits a smaller bankroll

Low minimums matter less than most players think, and odds matter more. At a $5 table with 3-4-5x odds, you can back every point with full odds for $15 to $25 behind the line. The odds bet carries no house edge, so that combination is among the cheapest craps in Las Vegas, and downtown is where it clusters.

Locals casinos: the best craps odds in Vegas are published here

The locals casinos away from the tourist corridors publish more craps detail than anywhere else in the valley. Station Casinos runs seven of them in the directory: Red Rock, Green Valley Ranch, Santa Fe Station, Palace Station, Boulder Station, Sunset Station and the newer Durango. All but Durango publish 10x odds, and most add a dollar cap on that.

CasinoAreaMinimum (published)Odds (published)
Red RockSummerlin$5–$2510x, max $10,000
Green Valley RanchHenderson$10–$2510x, max $5,000

Boulder StationBoulder Highway$5–$1010x, max $1,000
Sunset StationHenderson$10–$2510x, max $1,000
Palace StationWest Sahara$5 Roll To Win, $10 regular10x

Palace Station rewards a close look. It publishes a $10 minimum on regular dice, a $5 minimum on Roll To Win, where live dice are rolled but you bet on a personal screen, and a $5 crapless table. Durango and Sunset Station also list Roll to Win, and Sunset publishes a hot-shooter jackpot side bet.

Boyd and the independents

Boyd Gaming runs six more locals casinos with craps in Las Vegas and North Las Vegas: Sam’s Town, the Orleans, Gold Coast, Suncoast, Aliante and the Cannery. Aliante and the Cannery publish 10x odds, Suncoast publishes a crapless table, and Sam’s Town lists All Tall and All Small side bets. Jerry’s Nugget publishes a $5 minimum, as does Silverton.

South Point on the far south end of Las Vegas Boulevard has craps listed without published limits. Arizona Charlie’s Decatur publishes 5x odds and an All-Tall-Small side bet. Before you place one of those side bets, check the side bets guide: the payouts look generous, but the house edge is far higher than on the line.

Off-Strip craps: Palms, Rio, Ellis Island and the rest

Between the Strip and the locals casinos sits a ring of off-Strip resorts, most of them a short ride from the Strip. The directory lists craps at the Palms, the Rio, Ellis Island, Virgin Hotels, Westgate, Tuscany Suites, Silver Sevens and the OYO. For craps it is often the sweet spot.

The published figures here are strong. Ellis Island publishes a $10 minimum with 10x odds and Bonus Craps. Virgin Hotels publishes 10x odds and a crapless table. The Palms publishes a $5 minimum, and the Rio publishes a $3 promotion that runs daily from 3 a.m. to noon. Tuscany Suites also lists electronic craps.

Cheapest craps tables in Vegas and $5 craps in Las Vegas

If you want $5 craps in Las Vegas, the published list is short but real. A $5 minimum is published by the Downtown Grand, the Golden Nugget, the Palms, Silverton, Jerry’s Nugget, Palace Station’s Roll To Win and the lower end of Boulder Station’s and Red Rock’s ranges. The Rio’s $3 promotion is the lowest figure published in the valley.

Published minimums are a floor, not a promise. A casino that publishes $5 may open only one such table, and it fills first. Go early: on weekday mornings a $5 or $10 table is far more likely to be open than at 10 p.m. on a Saturday. Our bankroll guide shows what a session at each level costs.

Playing craps in Vegas: how to get started at the table

Playing craps in Vegas works the same as anywhere, just faster and louder. Wait for the dice to be in the middle, drop cash on the layout, not in a dealer’s hand, and say “change only”. Your first bet belongs on the pass line, placed before the come-out roll. The how-to-play guide walks through a full hand.

Once a point is set, put odds behind the line up to whatever the table allows. That single habit is what makes a 10x table at Golden Gate or Red Rock worth seeking out. Skip the center of the layout; the proposition bets there carry the highest house edges on the table, and the stickman will pitch them often.

When craps lessons in Las Vegas are worth it

Craps lessons in Las Vegas are easy to ask about and hard to look up, because casinos rarely publish a lesson schedule and times move with the season. Ask at the table-games desk or the cage when you arrive whether a lesson runs that week. A lesson costs nothing but time, and nobody minds basic questions there.

If your trip takes you beyond the valley, the national craps casino map covers Reno, Laughlin, Lake Tahoe and every other state with a confirmed table. And before you leave the room for the casino floor, check one thing on the placard at your chosen table: does 10x odds mean 10x on every point, or 10x with a dollar cap?

Frequently asked questions

Where is the best craps in Las Vegas?

For published odds, the locals casinos lead: Red Rock, Green Valley Ranch, Santa Fe Station, Boulder Station and Sunset Station all publish 10x odds on their own websites. Downtown, the Golden Gate and The D publish 10x as well. On the Strip, The STRAT and Virgin Hotels off it publish 10x odds with a crapless table too.

Where can I find the cheapest craps tables in Vegas?

The lowest published minimum is a $3 promotion at the Rio, running daily from 3 a.m. to noon. After that, $5 minimums are published by the Downtown Grand, the Golden Nugget, the Palms, Silverton, Jerry's Nugget and Palace Station's Roll To Win. Weekday mornings are when those cheap tables are most likely to be open.

How do you play craps in Vegas?

Buy chips by putting cash on the layout between rolls, then bet the pass line before the come-out roll. If a point is set, add odds behind your bet up to the table's limit. Craps in Las Vegas uses the same rules as anywhere else, so the basics carry over from any practice table or online game you have tried.

Is there still $5 craps in Las Vegas?

Yes, but you have to look for it. Eight valley casinos publish a $5 minimum on at least one table or game, mostly downtown and at the locals casinos, and the Rio publishes a $3 morning promotion. Strip resorts rarely publish a minimum. Arrive early on a weekday, since a single cheap table fills up quickly.

Which Las Vegas casinos have crapless craps?

In the directory, crapless craps is published by Flamingo, Paris, Planet Hollywood, The LINQ, SAHARA and The STRAT on the Strip, Harrah's on its electronic game, Virgin Hotels, Suncoast and Palace Station, where the crapless table has a $5 minimum. Crapless removes the losing 2, 3 and 12 but also the winning 11 on the come-out.

Where are the best craps odds in Vegas?

The highest published figure in the valley is 10x odds, and Red Rock publishes the biggest cap on it at $10,000. Green Valley Ranch publishes a $5,000 cap and Santa Fe Station $3,000. Downtown, the Golden Gate and The D publish 10x, while the Downtown Grand publishes 3-4-5x with a $5 minimum.

How many casinos have craps in Las Vegas?

The directory lists 52 craps casinos in Las Vegas, North Las Vegas and Henderson. That includes 15 on the Strip, 12 downtown, 17 locals casinos and 8 off-Strip resorts, and every one had a craps table confirmed on its own website or by the state regulator when we checked on September 28, 2026.

What are craps table minimums on the Las Vegas Strip?

Strip casinos rarely publish a craps minimum, so the directory leaves the field blank for most of them. Minimums there move with the crowd and are typically highest on weekend nights. If a low minimum matters, look downtown or at the locals casinos, where several publish $5 or $10 tables, or visit the Strip on a weekday morning.

Can you play bubble craps or electronic craps in Las Vegas?

Yes. Harrah's on the Strip and Binion's downtown list craps only in electronic form, published by the casinos. Encore, Flamingo, Horseshoe, Paris, Planet Hollywood, The LINQ and Tuscany Suites list electronic craps next to live tables. Station's Roll to Win, at Palace Station, Sunset Station and Durango, uses live dice with personal betting screens.

Are there craps lessons in Las Vegas?

Some casinos offer them, but lesson times are rarely published and change with the season, so the directory does not list them. Ask at the table-games desk when you arrive. A free practice table online is a useful warm-up too: it lets you learn the pass line, odds and come bets before you put real chips down.
