Borgata craps: the tables in each lobby
Borgata Online runs separate lobbies for New Jersey and Pennsylvania. In New Jersey we found a Craps tile in the featured Table Games row and again among the top tables on the casino home page. That one is computer-dealt. A second Craps tile sits under Live Dice Games in the New Jersey live lobby.
The Pennsylvania live lobby shows Craps in its Featured row. We did not crawl the Pennsylvania computer-dealt lobby, so we cannot say whether an RNG Craps table is live there too. No provider name appeared on any craps tile, and no table limits were visible in either state. Check them inside the table before you buy in.
| Table | Format | Confirmed states | What it suits |
|---|---|---|---|
| Craps (RNG) | Computer-dealt | NJ | Practice, quick sessions, bet-by-bet control |
| Craps (live) | Live dealer, real dice | NJ, PA | Casino rhythm, slower pace, chat with the table |
Our check found Borgata casino sites for New Jersey and Pennsylvania only, so this review has nothing to report for Michigan or West Virginia. Players there need another operator. For everyone in the two covered states, the practical question is which format suits the way you play, and that comes down mostly to speed and the size of your bankroll.
Matching a Borgata craps table to your bankroll
The bet menu is the same on both formats, and so is the house edge on each bet. A Pass Line bet costs 1.414% of every dollar decided on it. Add odds and the combined edge on everything you wager falls, because the odds bet has no house edge: 0.606% with 2x odds, 0.374% at 3-4-5x.
The combined edge falls, but the dollars at risk rise. A $5 Pass Line bet with 2x odds on a point of 6 puts $15 on the table, and the expected cost stays at about seven cents per decision, all of it from the flat bet. Your bankroll has to absorb bigger swings, not a bigger bill from the house.
A sensible rule is a bankroll of at least 20 flat bets plus room for the odds. At a $5 unit that is $100 before odds. On the live table, fewer rolls per hour stretch that money further. On the RNG table, every click is a roll, so a fixed stopping point, set before you start, does the same job.
The Borgata welcome offer: what it says about craps
On September 28, 2026 the offer read the same in both states: pick your deposit bonus when you sign up, then collect up to 1,000 bonus spins by spinning a wheel over eight days, with no wagering requirement on the spin winnings. Offers change often, so treat that wording as a snapshot, not a promise.
The spins belong to the slot side of the casino. The deposit bonus is the part a craps player would care about, and its full terms, including the minimum deposit, the playthrough and any game weighting, were shown only to logged-in players. We could not read them, so we cannot tell you whether Borgata craps counts toward clearing it.
Here is what that means in practice. Several operators we checked exclude craps from their welcome offers outright, so assume the worst until you see the rule. After you register and before you accept a deposit bonus, open its terms and search for craps or table games. If craps is excluded, think twice before you accept.
Licensing in New Jersey and Pennsylvania
Borgata states that it is licensed and regulated by the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement as an Internet gaming operator, and the Division lists borgataonline.com under Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa. In Pennsylvania, BetMGM operates the site under an interactive gaming licence from the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board, in partnership with Rivers Casino Philadelphia.
The Borgata app: ratings from 53,000 players
Borgata Casino - Real Money rated 4.72 out of 5 on the App Store from 53,064 ratings when we checked, and 4.4 on Google Play from 11,207 reviews. The iPhone score rests on a bigger sample than Caesars Palace, Bally Bet or Fanatics can show, which makes it harder to dismiss as noise. Android users are a little less enthusiastic.
Neither number tells you anything about craps in particular. An app can rate well because its slots load fast and its withdrawals clear, while its live dice table stutters on a weak connection. Try the live Borgata craps table on the phone and network you actually plan to use, at the smallest stake, before you bring a full bankroll.
Live dealer craps and the rest of the Borgata live lobby
The New Jersey live lobby listed 33 tables when we checked: ten blackjack, seven roulette, baccarat, dice, three poker games and five game shows. Some tables stream from Borgata itself, with names such as Roulette live from Borgata and Baccarat Live from Borgata. The live Craps tile sits in the dice group.
Two dice alternatives share that group: Lightning Dice and Super Sic Bo. Blackjack fans get Borgata Blackjack Gold, Power Blackjack, Infinite Blackjack and Lightning Blackjack, and the wheel side includes Lightning Roulette and American Red Door Roulette. Three Card Poker, Ultimate Texas Hold’em, Crazy Time, Monopoly Live and Dream Catcher complete it. Our live dealer craps guide explains live dice.
Software providers
Borgata does not print studio names on its lobby tiles, so we cannot name the provider of either craps table, of Lightning Dice or of Super Sic Bo. The house-branded live tables stream from Borgata’s own setting. If a provider matters to you, open the game’s information panel inside the app, where studios are sometimes named.
Other games at Borgata Online
Slots dominate. The New Jersey lobby counted 8,404 slot titles, a High Limit room with 46 games, Live Slots, an Arcade section and exclusive jackpot slots such as Loot’en Khamun & The Dead Sea Scrolls, Melon Madness Deluxe and All You Can Spin Sushi. Borgata also runs a separate online poker product in New Jersey.
How Borgata craps compares with Bally Bet and Fanatics
Bally Bet covers New Jersey and Pennsylvania too. It lists a computer-dealt Craps game for both states and a live Craps table in its New Jersey lobby, so on paper it matches Borgata in New Jersey and gives Pennsylvania the RNG format instead of live. Its App Store score is 4.56 from 50,254 ratings.
The Bally Bet offer is clearer about craps than Borgata’s, and not in a good way: only slot wagers qualify for its up-to-$500 bonus money. The playthrough on the bonus money can then be done on any casino game. With Borgata, the deposit-bonus rules are unknown to us until someone logs in, which cuts both ways.
Fanatics shows one live craps table, in New Jersey, and it is the only one of the three with posted limits: $0.50 to $5,000. Its first-day loss-back of up to $1,000 in casino credit covers eligible games that the web page does not list. On the App Store it scores 4.78 from 34,165 ratings.
For a Pennsylvania craps player, Borgata’s live table is the standout among these three. In New Jersey, all three give you a live option. Whichever you pick, find the minimum on the live table before you join mid-hand, because a live table keeps rolling whether your connection and your bankroll are ready or not.
