Golden Nugget craps tables: all five titles
The New Jersey lobby showed five craps games on September 28, 2026. BlackThrone supplies the two bubble machines, Bubble Craps Live at a $1 minimum and Bubble Craps Live High Limit at a $5 minimum. Evolution supplies First Person Craps. The last two, Golden Nugget Craps and Andrew Dice Clay Craps, come from DraftKings asset folders.
Both of those computer games had a demo mode on their tiles, so you can learn the buttons before playing for money. One gap stands out. Unlike DraftKings, Golden Nugget listed no live dealer craps table in its live lobby when we checked, so the bubble machines are the only way to watch real dice decide your bets.
What each format is good for
The fact panel above gives providers and posted limits. This table asks a different question: which of the five games suits which kind of session. Blank limits are blank on purpose, since Golden Nugget posts minimums only on the two bubble tiles and we will not borrow a number from somewhere else.
| Format | Golden Nugget title | Posted minimum | Who controls the pace | Suits |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Bubble | Bubble Craps Live | $1 | The machine | Small stakes with real dice |
| Bubble | Bubble Craps Live High Limit | $5 | The machine | Bigger units, same dome |
| First person | First Person Craps | Not posted | You | A studio look at your own speed |
| RNG | Golden Nugget Craps | Not posted | You | Learning in demo, then real play |
| Variant | Andrew Dice Clay Craps | Not posted | You | Trying a themed table in demo first |
The three computer-dealt games roll when you press the button, and not a second before. On a phone that can mean a decision every few seconds. That sounds minor until you notice how fast a bankroll moves when nobody makes you wait, which is exactly why the next section counts cost per roll rather than cost per hour.
Which Golden Nugget craps table fits your bankroll
The standard Golden Nugget craps games use the same bet math as a casino pit, so the format changes the unit size, not the edge. The table below is computed from the same module as the rest of this site. Read it as the price list for the four bets most players make first.
| Bet | Pays | House edge | Per roll |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pass Line | 1 to 1 | 1.41% | 0.42% |
| Don't Pass | 1 to 1 | 1.36% | 0.40% |
| Place 6 | 7 to 6 | 1.52% | 0.46% |
| Field | 1 to 1; 2 pays 2 to 1; 12 pays 2 to 1 | 5.56% | 5.56% |
At the $1 bubble machine, a $1 Pass Line bet costs about 0.42 cents per roll, since its edge works out to 0.419% of the bet each roll. Over 100 rolls that is around 42 cents. At the $5 High Limit machine the same bet costs about $2.10 per 100 rolls, which is still cheap entertainment.
Now compare the Field. Five dollars on it every roll gives up 5.556% each time, roughly 27.8 cents a roll and $27.78 per 100 rolls. The Place 6 sits in between: $6 on it costs about 2.8 cents a roll, because its 1.515% edge is paid only when the bet is decided.
The lesson for a small bankroll is plain. Stay on the Pass Line or Don’t Pass, add odds behind the line when a point is set, and treat the Field as an occasional bet. Our bankroll management guide shows how many units a session needs to ride out an ordinary cold streak.
The Golden Nugget welcome offer and craps
The offer checked September 28, 2026 is a Player’s Choice. Wager $5 on eligible games, then pick either $50 in Crown Cash or 500 Flex Spins. It runs in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan and West Virginia from August 31 to November 29, 2026, and you must be physically located in one of those four states.
Both options list craps games as excluded. Slots, table games and video poker qualify, but not craps. For a dice player that settles it: no Golden Nugget craps wager counts toward the $5, so the qualifying bet has to go on blackjack, roulette or a slot before you ever reach the bubble machine.
The two rewards behave differently. Crown Cash must be played through once before its winnings can be withdrawn. Flex Spins arrive 50 a day for ten days, each allotment expiring 24 hours after it lands, and their winnings move to your cash balance. The terms we captured gave no Crown Cash expiry.
If you only play craps, neither choice adds much. If you mix in the odd blackjack hand, the $5 qualifier is easy to place, and Crown Cash at a 1x playthrough is the more flexible reward. Offers change, so read the current terms on the promotions page, and check our New Jersey online craps guide for what rival sites offer.
Golden Nugget Online Casino app ratings
The Golden Nugget Online Casino app holds a 4.7 rating on the App Store from 51,152 reviews and 4.7 on Google Play from 23,728 reviews. The Apple listing names DraftKings as the seller, which fits everything else in this review: the two brands share a platform, in-house games and a rewards program.
Scores that high on samples that large suggest the app is stable for most people. They are mostly written by slot players, though, and say nothing about how a craps layout fits a small screen. Our craps apps guide lists what to test yourself: bet placement, the odds button and how clearly the point shows.
Live dealer tables and dice alternatives
This is where Golden Nugget craps falls short of its sister brand. The live lobby we checked listed no live dealer craps table. The two bubble machines are live in the sense that real dice tumble under a dome on camera, but there is no dealer, no stickman and no studio pit to watch.
For other dice, the lobby lists Lightning Dice from Evolution, a three-dice game with its own math. The live studios are Evolution, Playtech, DraftKings, BlackThrone and Inspired. Named tables include Golden Nugget Blackjack, Golden Nugget Roulette, Golden Nugget Speed Baccarat, Infinite Blackjack, Live Spanish 21, Lightning Roulette, Red Door Roulette, Crazy Time and MONOPOLY Live.
If a studio craps table matters to you, look at our live dealer craps guide for the operators that list one. At Golden Nugget the closest thing is First Person Craps, which borrows the studio look but is dealt by a random number generator, so the rolls come as fast as you press the button.
Software providers in the Golden Nugget lobby
The lobby draws on 34 studios, more than twice the fifteen we counted at DraftKings. Besides DraftKings, Evolution and BlackThrone, the list includes IGT, Playtech, NextGen, Games Global, Inspired, NetEnt, Play’n GO, Hacksaw, Red Tiger, Nolimit City, Konami, Everi and Ainsworth. Nearly all of them build slots, which is where the long list pays off.
For craps, three names cover everything. DraftKings builds Golden Nugget Craps and Andrew Dice Clay Craps, Evolution builds First Person Craps and BlackThrone runs the two bubble domes. If you have played craps at DraftKings, you have already seen four of the five games, since both lobbies load them from the same asset folders.
Other games at Golden Nugget Online Casino
The categories run Slots, Lightning Link, Cashingo, New, Tables, Live Dealer, Jackpots, Exclusives, Asian Themed Games, Blackjack, Roulette, video poker and Slingo. The jackpot section carries exclusive Golden Nugget progressives. Rewards are shared with DraftKings and Jackpocket, so one rewards account covers all three brands, though we could not see how craps play earns points.
How Golden Nugget craps compares with DraftKings and BetMGM
DraftKings is the obvious benchmark. It lists six craps titles to Golden Nugget’s five, with the same bubble machines at $1 and $5 and the same Andrew Dice Clay game. The extra title is a live craps table posting $1 to $5,000. Both welcome offers exclude craps games from the qualifying wager.
BetMGM is thinner for dice. Its New Jersey lobby lists three craps games, an RNG table, First Person Craps and a live craps table, with no posted limits and no bubble machine. Its offer needs a $10 deposit, and the per-game wagering contributions on its deposit matches were not visible, so craps treatment is unclear.
Put side by side, Golden Nugget craps suits players who want real dice at low stakes and do not mind a machine instead of a dealer. Players who want a dealer should look at DraftKings or BetMGM. None of the three offers gives a craps player much from the welcome bonus, so the tables decide it.
A detail for your first bubble session
On the $1 bubble machine the dome keeps its own rhythm, so there is a betting window before each roll rather than a button of your own. Place your Pass Line bet and your odds early in that window. A bet placed as the timer runs out may not make it onto the layout.
