BetMGM craps tables: the three games in the lobby
The New Jersey table games section listed two craps titles on September 28, 2026: one called simply Craps, a computer-dealt RNG game, and First Person Craps. The live dealer lobby listed a third, a live craps table in its dice games row. The same live craps tile appeared in the featured row of the Pennsylvania live lobby.
BetMGM does not name providers on its tiles. First Person is the naming Evolution uses for its computer-dealt studio games, but the BetMGM tile does not say who built it, so neither do we. The same applies to the live table, which carries no studio name and no posted limits on the tile.
What each BetMGM craps format is good for
The fact panel above shows the three titles as BetMGM lists them. This table sorts them by the session each suits. Because no limits are posted publicly, the column is marked as such; open each game after you log in and read its limits screen before you pick a unit size.
| Format | BetMGM title | States confirmed | Posted limits | Suits |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| RNG | Craps | New Jersey | Not posted | Fast, self-paced play and learning the layout |
| First person | First Person Craps | New Jersey | Not posted | A studio look at your own speed |
| Live dealer | Craps (live) | New Jersey, Pennsylvania | Not posted | Real dice with a dealer on camera |
For a new player the RNG table is the natural starting point, because nothing moves until you press the button. Once the Pass Line, the point and the odds feel routine, the live table adds real dice and a dealer’s rhythm, which slows the game down and usually makes a bankroll last longer.
Which BetMGM craps table fits your bankroll
With no posted minimums, the useful question is what a given unit costs rather than what the table allows. The bet math is the same as in any casino pit, and the table below comes from the same module as every other number on this site. It covers the four bets most players reach for first.
| Bet | Pays | House edge | Per roll |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pass Line | 1 to 1 | 1.41% | 0.42% |
| Don't Pass | 1 to 1 | 1.36% | 0.40% |
| Place 6 | 7 to 6 | 1.52% | 0.46% |
| Field | 1 to 1; 2 pays 2 to 1; 12 pays 2 to 1 | 5.56% | 5.56% |
Say you settle on $5 units at the BetMGM craps RNG table. A $5 Pass Line bet costs about 2.1 cents per roll, since the Pass Line gives up 0.419% of the bet each roll, so 100 rolls cost roughly $2.10. A $5 Don’t Pass bet is a touch cheaper, at 0.404% per roll, or about $2.02 per 100 rolls.
Odds make the session bigger without making it dearer. Put $10 in odds behind a $5 Pass Line bet and the expected cost stays near $2.10 per 100 rolls, because odds carry no edge, while the combined edge on all the money in action drops to 0.606%. Where a table allows 3-4-5x odds, it falls to 0.374%.
The one-roll bets tell the opposite story. Five dollars on the Field every roll costs about 27.8 cents a roll, thirteen times the Pass Line. Before you sit down, read our odds bet explainer and the Field bet breakdown, and settle on a unit that gives you at least a few dozen bets.
The BetMGM welcome offer and craps
The BetMGM offer, the same in all four states, needs a qualifying deposit of at least $10, with no opt-in. It pays up to 1,000 Bonus Spins, released 100 a day for ten days, plus one spin of a prize wheel a day for seven days. The promotion runs from September 15, 2026 to March 14, 2027.
The spins are slot spins, so BetMGM craps players get nothing from them directly. Their winnings arrive as casino bonus with a 10x wagering requirement and stay valid for three days. Each batch of spins is valid for three days after activation, so log in daily if you want the full thousand. Wagering contributions vary by game.
The wheel is where BetMGM craps might come in. Its prizes include deposit matches of 25% up to $50, 50% up to $100 and 100% up to $200, each claimable within ten days of the spin. Those matches carry a wagering requirement, and the terms say contributions depend on the specific casino game. The contribution table itself was not visible.
That gap matters for BetMGM craps. The rules tie each game’s share to a table we could not see, so a craps bet may count fully, partly or not at all. Treat any deposit match as a slot bonus until the table in your account says otherwise. The spins are the sure part.
BetMGM Casino app ratings and deposits
The BetMGM Casino app rates 4.7 on the App Store from 147,687 reviews and 4.4 on Google Play from 42,745 reviews. Both samples are large enough that a burst of angry reviews could not move them far. The Android score trails the iPhone score by three tenths, a gap worth a look if you play on Android.
Ratings like these say the app works for most people, most of whom play slots. They cannot tell you how the BetMGM craps layout fits your screen. Our craps apps guide lists what to check: how easily you can place odds, how clearly the point shows and how quickly a bet settles.
BetMGM is also the only one of the four brands in this group whose banking page we could read. It lists Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, PayWithMyBank, Apple Pay, the MGM Rewards Mastercard, VIP Preferred, PayNearMe, a BetMGM gift card and Play+. PayPal deposits can come from your PayPal balance or a linked bank account.
Live dealer craps and other dice games at BetMGM
The live craps table sits in a dice games row in New Jersey and in the featured row in Pennsylvania, which makes BetMGM one of the few operators where a live craps table is confirmed outside New Jersey. Michigan and West Virginia lobbies did not load for us. Our Pennsylvania online craps guide shows which other sites list craps there.
Beside BetMGM craps the New Jersey lobby lists Lightning Dice, Super Sic Bo and First Person Super Sic Bo, again without providers on the tiles. All three use three dice rather than two, so none of the craps math on this site applies to them. If you want dice with a different bet menu, they are the alternatives on offer.
The rest of the live lobby is broad. Named tables include Blackjack Live, Power, Infinite, Lightning and Speed Blackjack, BetMGM BetStacker Blackjack Royale, BetMGM Roulette Gold, Lightning Roulette, American Red Door Roulette, BetMGM Baccarat Gold, Three Card Poker, Ultimate Texas Hold’em, Crazy Time and Monopoly Live. Two tiles stream roulette and baccarat live from Borgata.
Software providers behind BetMGM craps
This is the thinnest part of any BetMGM review, and we would rather say so than pad it. The tiles show no provider names, the lobby has no provider filter, and a search for craps returned a page-not-found error. So we cannot tell you who built any BetMGM craps table.
What we can say is that the First Person Craps name matches Evolution’s range, and that DraftKings and FanDuel both list Lightning Dice from Evolution. Naming is not proof. If the studio matters to you, open the game after you log in; the loading screen or the help page may name its maker.
Other games at BetMGM Casino
Slots dominate. The New Jersey lobby counted 1,716 slot titles and 46 high-limit games, alongside progressive jackpot tickers, exclusive BetMGM titles, an Arcade section and video poker such as Game King and Super Times Pay. BetMGM also runs a separate poker product in New Jersey, which sits outside the casino lobby entirely.
How BetMGM craps compares with Borgata and FanDuel
Borgata is the nearest relative. The New Jersey regulator lists BetMGM’s casino under the Borgata licence, and Borgata’s lobby looks similar for dice: an RNG Craps game in New Jersey and a live craps table in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, with no posted limits. BetMGM adds First Person Craps, the one table Borgata lacks.
FanDuel is the contrast. Its three Evolution tables all post $0.50 to $5,000, so you know the stakes before you log in, and its $25 credit may be used on table and slot games. BetMGM craps tells you less on both counts, though it confirms a live table in Pennsylvania where FanDuel’s lobby was only checked in New Jersey.
So BetMGM craps makes the most sense for a Pennsylvania player who wants a live dealer, or for anyone who wants a live table beside a very large slot lobby. For low stakes with known limits, FanDuel is the clearer choice. For bonus value, neither the spins nor the wheel matches are built around dice.
A limits check worth doing first
Because the BetMGM tiles post no limits, log in, open the live craps table and read its minimum before you size a deposit around it. Then check the odds limit shown in the game’s rules. At a table allowing larger odds, the same Pass Line bet carries a lower combined edge, which is the one number worth hunting for.
